Stability

You need to stand on a solid ground so to be stable, not shaking and trembling. However, it is difficult since you are riding the waves that are essentially changeable and shaky. It is work of mastery if you can see the underlying essence and nature of the wave.
In the time of crises, such as that of current Afghanistan, the situation is so gloomy, and the scenarios change so fast and in an unsteady fashion. In such situation citizens and even the leaders lose sight, get confused and paranoid. Everything and everyone seems unpredictable and the usual logic does not work. So you can not rely on anything and anyone.  You withdraw from more general civic and cultural values to resort to your blood relationships or even your own self only.
What is so precious in such situations is deeper looking eyes, eyes that can see beyond the day-to-day events. It seems that all of us have such potentials to look beyond and find out the innermost impulse of life. Once you are connected there a tremendous constructive energy finds the outlet and flows to the world. You see the currents change meaningful and find the niches where to interfere and insert your influence.
Those who work for peace should have this sort strategic account of the situation otherwise peace work leads to frustration and absurdity. Only with a deeper looking eye you can be stable and stand on your feet even if you fall for thousand time.
